  16. .Dear John. When you paint, it looks to draw it’s that simple. You have an incredible hand, thanks for the training

    • You’re welcome sir… and thank you so much for watching my videos…

  17. Have only just discovered your channel and I must say that I find your videos extremely informative John.
It’s not always easy to create a natural look for rocks, tree bark, roads, mountains and shadowing etc. but you achieve it with great skill; I also admire your attention to detail.
For example, in the coconut tree video you chose not to use a fan-brush as many artists would have done for the fonds but elected to make it more interesting to look at, so very well done!
You’re not overly talkative but you provide just enough information to aid others.
It’s interesting that you use acrylics rather than oil paint in your work; does the faster drying time suit your style?
Keep up the good work John in making these presentations for us all and have a healthy and happy 2016.

    Nick Harvey

    • The pleasure is mine sir… I’ll do the best of what I can do…

    • +John magne Lisondra (JMLisondra)
      Pleasure.
I’ll be watching out for your postings in the weeks and months ahead and don’t try and please everyone with your efforts or feel that you need to achieve more: just keep doing your own thing bro.

    • Yes sir you are right! We all artists communicate not by mouth but by art that we create. Thank you for a good day sir… 🙂

    • +John magne Lisondra (JMLisondra)
      Hey John
Don’t stress out over the language issue brother; think about this.
Let’s resurrect Da Vinci, Rafael, Titian and Michelangelo.
Many people in this world can not speak Italian but we would all still learn a great deal just by watching them wouldn’t we!
Keep up your good work in oil and acrylics as I genuinely enjoy watching you.

    • +NickPenlee Thank you so much sir Nick Harvey. Your comments really made my day. I used computer voice for the explanation because I don’t have a good english accent and in real life I really don’t talk to much that’s why the informations I gave were just enough or less to fit the entire video. I might really need to practice more in english speaking.
Actually my favorite medium is oil but I don’t have enough experience in using it. I been doing acrylic painting for almost 16 years now. Its my first medium. So for me I think its a good idea to teach others how I learned from it. And its really good to share this talent to others even though I am really having a hard time in explaining. I hope they understand.
I used oil for portraits and larger paintings.
Once again thank you so much sir Nick Harvey for the good comments. It gives me more courage to do more.
Have a happy and healthy 2016 to you too sir. 🙂
