Curtrice Ennis says:
This is a *very beautiful* painting. I tried to do it – mine didn’t turn out as pretty and realistic looking as yours did! Am gonna try it again and again til I get it right because I absolutely *love* this painting. But, what you call an ” illusion of a forest ” actually looks like a very ” misty forest” in the background. You just do *wonders* on a canvas. Please keep your videos coming for us that explain how you paint the “whole” painting. I do appreciate your teaching us how to paint like you do!!! THANK YOU!!! And, as others have said – love your accent!!! 😉 One question though …I only have “Quinone (?) Rose for my red color. Do you think it would turn out “right” or do you recommend I get the red as you are using? AGAIN – I absolutely *LOVE* this painting and thank you again for sharing your techniques!!! ( I believe that the purple flower you painted is called a “Lavender” or a “Phlox.) I’m not sure, but, I think it is one of those..)the white may be either a “seeding” dandelion or baby’s breath. Like I said – I’m not sure if those are what they are, but, that’s what they look like to me, 🥰 Still, they’re beautiful, though!!!!)
Curtrice Ennis says:
Thank you so much for your advice. Am going to try my best at painting this tomorrow. Wish I knew how to send you a picture of it – especially if I “mess up” on it, so you could give me a few pointers if you wouldn’t mind doing so. Thank you again for sharing your “full – painting” techniques with us. You are such an inspiration to me!!!😉
Art of John Magne Lisondra says:
hello Curtrice.. thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate this. I never tried Quinone Rose as red but you can try to mix it with your blue and if it turns out beautiful purple then it must be similar near to brilliant red. Thanks again Curtrice, just keep learning and happy painting!

Sir, you are really an amazing artist. I been watching your video like a month now. At first i really don’t have any interest in painting but now I am planning to make it a habit. You really inspire me to stay at home an paint instead of going out. Btw do you have any suggestion what types of brushes should i buy for beginners like me.?
