  16. Thank you John for teaching us/me to paint. I was overwhelmed when I first started to paint but you take us step by step which simplifies the whole process. I only ever used pastels but painting with a brush, blending etc is very different. I am very keen to learn. I am working on this one and plan on painting many more of your beautiful paintings.     • you can choose any technique you want to start a painting as long as you are comfortable.
