  6. What are the actual paint color names? Mixing the wrong red with the wrong yellow will give you mud, not orange.

  11. John, do you wash your brushes out before you use completely different colors or do you just grab new ones?

    • Yes you need to wash and clean with rag.. so it will not mix and become muddy

    • What level of difficulty do you think this is? I’ve been painting for about 2-3 months.

  17. You are my very favorite tutorial artist and I’ve done so many of your tutorials and they have been my greatest learning experiences and best work….. I tried this beautiful scene but just couldn’t come close to getting the right colors. First – you can’t see the colors you paint the sky – it is too bright in the clip – the photocopy I made looked pale lavender. It would be helpful to know which of each color groupings you suggest are the BEST choices = for example list the BEST colors in blues 1st, then 2nd choice, and 3rd. That way if we know for sure which ones will recreate your lesson as accurately would be very helpful. (for example I’ve always had a problem making purplish out of cad red and blue so I usually grab my own purple if that is the color you are using) (PS if you could show in inches and/or centimenters how far up on your canvas you place your sketch main features that would be very helpful and make it easier for us to convert in the right proportions if we are using a different size canvas ) Thank you for all you do! You are much LOVED.
