The steps is from creating the circular dark green mid tone strokes then adding some darker green as shades the the last part is putting some highlights. All in just using two nylon flat brushes. It’s a full step by step instructional tutorial in just 22 minutes, you can learn this simple basic steps for beginners.

Brilliant Red / Primary Red / Cadmium Red
Medium Yellow / Primary Yellow
Raw Umber / Burnt Umber / Burnt Sienna

  4. john. you dont know how you help me to define colors with just three basics, i used to think that those three are isnt enough, and bought more and more, and thought it would help me, but it isnt, in fact it was more complicated. but one of your tutorial opened the art of the mind for me. and the most major thing was that you told that any blue red or yellow are ok. and indeed… one natural color which is black and one contrast which is white, and blue red and yellow. much appreciate
