  4. Thank you for reminding people the risk of using water for glazing! I am not much of a painter but I always include it in teaching my high school students since it is an important skill. I always want to make sure they have all the information since I tend to give them a lot of freedom in their assignments.

This is a very well explained video, i appreciate you tell everybody to use blending medium instead of water (water can be used but very little, about max 30% in the mixture) becouse i see too many people on web that don’t explain this point so well, at the risk to someone unbinding the paint. I love to blend using wet on dry šŸ™‚ but it depends ofcourse on the style and on the painting itself, the feeling to communicate. Thank you so much John.

  6. Hello john can i ask if theres any slow drying medium to use for acrylic..?

    • yes, you can use acrylic paint retarder…. but I am not using it… I just use plain water
