    • Art of John Magne Lisondra you’re very harsh on your brushes. Try not pushing down so much on them, that way they last longer.

  4. Hi John, this tree also grows where I’m from, Puerto Rico. We call it Flamboyan which meas fire tree as well. The leaves all become colors red/orange and in the middle yellow. We also have it all in yellow and sometimes pink just a few. Great job! Now with the painting I can learn how to paint it. Thanks. God bless you Vianni

  6. Hi this is Ruth here,great tutorial,I seem to have lost my mono lately had some bad paintings so I thought I’d study this tutorial and see if I can find my mono again.

  15. This painting is one of my favorites. I’m a beginner and started painting with acrylics 6 months ago. Needless to say, I painted along and the technique worked for me. I now have a duplicate of this beautiful painting
