i used it whenever the paint is so hard to drag on canvas… I just say it’s minimal in time of painting.. sometimes i spray my canvas with water before starting and also my palette before putting some paints.

Advice please anyone:
I failed right at the begining where I could not blend those sky colours properly. It looked terrible and i thrown away two canvas! Water did not help much i guess just plain color needs to be blended..but how :(((((

I have the same issue… when he blends it looks bright and vibrant but when I blend it looks terrible. I wonder if he dipped the brush in water or something?

I struggled too. Next time I will try mixing acrylic retarder with the paint to slow the drying time and give more time to blend.

I cant seem to mix the colors the way you do…. I have my primary and white laid out like you do, but it ends up being more gray/dull then anything ….. could using the wrong brush/too much water/not enough water cause that to happen that you know of?
