John ! I think that’s the most beautiful sky I’ve ever seen you do in your paintings. Absolutely beautiful. Your talent has grown enormously in the past year. All I can say is oh boy ! Watch out!! When you start incorporating a bunch more colors into your work.
I went crazy in the art store before I knew how to use black and white and bought up all these amazing colors and guess what? I found out I hadn’t learned how to use the basic colors first like you have been teaching. I was ready to throw everything in the trash until I realized that I have to start with the basics first. I never learned how to use colors .. So I took them all down and put them in a drawer.
I sure hope they dont harden up before I learn how to use them. Lol lol lol ..I’m just going to use the basics again until I learn how to use colors, and how to use perspective, how to use lights and shadows and above all learn to see the proper way..
