I can’t believe that I am good looking in any sense of the word, and thats why compliments from you don’t do anything because I feel like you’re obligated to say these things. Like I hate wearing my clothes that I now have in my closet because they dont make me feel as good asd the ones that I got for college because I got those clothes specifically to look good because they made me feel good and I just. Its like this one time I was at work singing to myself, and a customer interrupted me (scared the shit outta me) but they told me that I was a good singer like. That was the first time that I really thought to myself, maybe I can sing because like. Having you, or my mom, or even an audience member tell me I did a good job means a lot to me, but I still feel like its an obligation or even just a white lie. But having a stranger go out of their way to compliment me out of the blue with no real reason just. Makes me feel good. I dont know
