Thank you so much your video is extremely helpful, could you tell me why you use lamp black? I’ve been taught to never use black only mixing darks from blue light red and sienna. I love what you do

you’re welcome… I really don’t use pure black in my paintings… That’s why you observe that I am mixing it with other colors like burnt sienna, blue or sometimes red to make it not so black.. Black alone is not good when you apply it directly but if other colors mix on it. It’s ok for me… And also I use lamp black to mix it with phtalo blue with white to make it blueish gray… It’s hard to create blueish gray using only blue, red, yellow and white… So it is still an advantage if you have black on your palette.
