don’t use black for shadows. always just use a darker shade of that color.

+Diane Wiser hello Diane… yes i primed my cardboard to prevent it from absorbing the paints. I think commercial acrylic papers are ready to use and you don’t have to prime it. In case just add 1 more coats to it.

Wonderful clouds! I am a painter too, I mostly do eastern folk art paintings using hard lines and no transparency. I want to practice getting more textures and trying new things.
