  9. Bonjour John,trĆØs belle peinture sur Venise ,et les couleurs sont belles!

  10. Wow! John! Incredible as always! Just a question, do you thin your paints with just water though? I’ve heard other artists say it breaks the bonds in the paint and it should be some flow improving product? No idea myself as I’m not a fine artist, and I doubt anyone will ever want to keep my work, but I was just curious? Much respect for your talent. Bless you.

    • @Art of John Magne Lisondra brilliant! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to answer that!

    • thank you Melissa… yes I only used water to thin the acrylics… but it’s not recommended to put plenty as it breaks the bonds… that’s why I just used it on the underpainting. when I added the next layers or the details, I made sure that it’s almost as pure… You can use retarders or other gels to keep the bonds while making it flow.

  17. Woww !! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time-Venice my favourite city!! I don’t know how busy you might be but could you please consider doing classical painting tutorials? I understand they might take a long time cuz they are portraits and really complicated ones but i think that would be amazing and I’ll take your account to the next stepšŸ˜šŸ˜if not that (because i can understand why) could you condider doing a painting of Greek islands(Santorini,Mykonos) or the pantheon in Athens (im from Greece)? I would really appreciate it because painting is such a big passion to me and you are such an amzing teacher
