I just mixed it with enough water to make it a little wet and smooth enough to apply… make sure that the surface of your canvas is also smooth. I mostly used reeves and liquitex basics acrylics

It was stapled on a plywood and I added 3 coats of primed gesso. I will be uploading a tutorial on how I made my canvas.
