  10. Hey, hello! Can you tell me what are you using for base on the canvas? I mean, it is obvious that this is canvas, but do you put something on it for a base, before you start your painting?

    • yes, 3 coats of gesso for my primer. you can also use white acrylic.

  11. Hi JM. Beautiful painting and thank you for the lesson. I hope you get to see snow for real one day. Just know it will be cold. I like to get away from the snow and go south when it comes to warm up.

    • Well, if you ever do get the chance wear layer’s of clothing so if you get hot you can take off a layer of clothing or put more layer’s on if you get cold. Keep moving to keep the blood flowing through your body…and just stay out little bits at a time so you don’t catch a chill in your body.
